Facing the costs of going back to school is very difficult for many families and to top it off in six regions what parents must pay for their children's school canteen with respect to last year.

The most expensive school menus in Spain
Those of Aragon with 6.81 euros by daily school menu, followed by Navarra and the Balearic Islands with 6.50 euros. In the Balearic Islands this year has increased 8.3 percent.

Prices have risen in six communities
The six communities that have raised prices are Balearics, as we have commented before, Cantabria, where parents now have to pay 4.95 euros a day for their children's school menu, 19.3 percent more than the previous year, and Estremadura (4.80 euros) which has risen 18.8 percent.
They have also increased by Castilla y León, La Rioja and Ceuta and good news for Murcia's parents, since it is the only region where it has come down.
There are parents who make great efforts so that their children go to class and these increases, in some places of almost 20 percent, added to the cuts in dining scholarships and in aid for the acquisition of textbooks seriously complicate the continuity of lots of students.
