What can not be missing in the kit

When we have children at home, we must have a complete first aid kit with the necessary medicines and elements to avoid any emergency.

The first aid kit can take us out of more than a hurry and must contain essential items such as:

  • Thermometer and antipyretic that you usually administer to the child
  • Cough syrup, antihistamines and antidiarrheals
  • Gauze, bandages and dressings
  • Hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, scissors, cotton, physiological serum and iodine
  • Ointments for burns, for bites and for rashes

This is a list of basic items. Of course, the content varies according to the specific needs of each child or family. In summer, for example, we must add insect repellent and sunburn creams.

If we go on a trip, we can put together a smaller first-aid kit to carry in the car or in the suitcase for any eventuality.

In the market there are first aid kit kits with the products we use most commonly. Likewise, we can do it ourselves by allocating a sturdy box to store all items. Thus, everything will be in the same place to resort to any emergency.

Oh… and don't forget to keep the medicine cabinet out of the reach of children in a cool and dry place and periodically check the expiration date of the medications.
