II Comprehensive Family and Childhood Plan 2007-2010

The Valencian Government has launched the II Comprehensive Family and Childhood Plan 2007-2010 In order to improve the quality of life in the family of the most needy families, 2.720 million euros will be allocated for this purpose.

The plan starts under very successful premises, the family is the basic institution of society, any decision taken by a government, always directly or indirectly affects the family and finally, this is the best institution to support and protect the weakest , in this case the children.

Among some of the actions contemplated in this plan is the improvement of all the processes of child protection, knowledge, use and application of new technologies in the family, promoting parent schools or increasing the quality of life in families, a situation that predisposes to numerous conflicts on some occasions. It is necessary to address different areas in which to help families, this is an action that guarantees greater protection and welfare of the little ones, of this the Valencian government is fully aware and for this reason they have taken certain objectives to be achieved as very priority. Health, education or reconciliation between work and family life of parents, are some of the objectives that must be achieved to achieve a strengthening of family components.
