Next Thursday, May 15, commemorates the day of San Isidro, the patron of Madrid and for this the City Council has organized a lot of activities throughout this week, many dedicated to children.

Between May 14 and 18 there will be various programs with which the little ones can enjoy in a big way. And never better said, because for the start, on May 14 you can see the giants and big heads, who attract the attention of children so much, walking through the streets of the city.

The puppet company Titirimundi will present its functions every day in several stages: in the gardens of Cabo Noval, in Plaza de Oriente, in Plaza de Sánchez Bustillo and in Corrala de Lavapiés.

A show that although it is a little late (at 22 and 23 hrs) children will love is Naumagia, a recreation of naval battles through fire, light, projections, water and sound that as every year will take place in the pond of the Retiro Park. The 15 also, fireworks, water and sound accompanied by Haendel music.

There will also be workshops for children in Planetárea and cooked for everyone in the Plaza Mayor. On the City Council website you can consult the complete program of the San Isidro 2008 festivities.
