Next June, the German network RTL will premiere a reality show television program in which meat and bone babies will be involved, who should be cared for.
Attentive to the summary. The program will be called Adult to test (Erwachsen auf Probe). It involves four couples of teenagers who must face the challenges of pregnancy and caring for a newborn baby who will later become a child and then a teenager.
The program will be broadcast in 8 installments but will be recorded in a month, in which once a first phase with simulated babies has passed, they enter the scene. four real babies borrowed by their families for four days to intervene in the televised game.
Once the baby's stage is over, adolescent couples will welcome children under 4, then school-age children and then teenagers.
As expected, the controversy has not taken long to jump. The Federation for the Protection of Minors in Germany (DKSB) is of the same opinion that many of us think, that it is "unacceptable that defenseless babies must pay the price of a chain that they seek is to increase their audience and their advertising revenue."
It is possible that behind the program is the intention of demonstrating to young people the great responsibility of caring for a child in order to try to reduce unwanted teenage pregnancies. However, I do not consider it wise to separate four babies from their parents to leave them in the hands of strangers and be recorded by television cameras 24 hours a day.
Nor do I understand how parents offer themselves to it. As always, in these cases in the last ones in which it is thought is in babies.
