You can use pictures of the kids since they were babies and old photographs of the whole family. Children will love to discover how they were mom and dad of babies or when they were little. In addition, it is a good way to remember on these dates those who are far away.
It is an ideal activity to do with children. They can collaborate in the elaboration of photo ornaments while sharing family memories of the past with them.
The way to do it is very easy. First, you have to look for old photos. In order not to spoil them it is better to scan them, then print them and paste them on a piece of cardboard. We make them a little hole and we pass a thread or fine cord to hang them.
Taking a little imagination we can crop the photos in different ways: round, rectangular, stars, or cut them with scissors with shapes, as well as print some in color and others in black and white. Maybe you prefer a tree with a nostalgic style; in that case all the black and white photos would be great.
