Let me get things out of the drawers

Although we can despair sometimes and making it clear that we must ensure that the activity is safe, I congratulate the parents who let their children take things out of the drawers. Take care that they are not harmed and that they do not have access to dangerous objects or products, of course. The activities that young children develop in a safe environment but with freedom are the natural way in which they discover their environment and educate themselves.

Children need to experience to understand and internalize key concepts in their understanding of the world and physical laws. And taking things out of the drawers is, therefore, one of the funniest educational activities and full of possibilities. Let's see everything that goes through your head when it is put into action.

A drawer opens and closes. Surprise. A drawer looks like one thing but inside it stores many others. Surprise. A drawer opens when we pull it and closes if we push, being able to change its position and appearance with our conscious actions. It is fascinating. We can change the world, things, its appearance. The strength of our arms, moved by our mind and decision is enormous.

further in the drawers there are wonderful things and new: clothes, papers, kitchen pots, everything. The things inside are organized in a certain way and when they are extended, they seem different. I can see their differences and begin to understand their similarities, actively discovering the categories.

There are soft and hard, cold and warm, soft and hard things. There are also forbidden things because it seems that my parents consider them delicate or dangerous for me. There is much to learn.

Opening drawers experiment fine and thick motor skills, the physical laws that govern the world, textures, colors, shapes and temperatures. I can also discover changes in objects and my ability to change them. And in addition, it provokes conversation, emotions and explanations in adults, marking logical limits.

Opening and closing drawers, taking and putting things out of them is an educational and playful experience without equal. Let me get things out of the drawers.
