Víctor Martín Angulo Córdoba he is 12 years old. His story has gone viral after being caught by a security camera from Moche, the district of Peru where he lives, while doing my homework in the light of a lamppost.

As local media explain, at home they don't have electricity, so he goes out at night to read and finish his homework on the street.

His mother, Rosa Córdoba Angulo, explains in Excelsior, that they had no money to pay for the light meter, so the electric power company did not install it and they have no light at home.

He added that "Victor has always been a very studious child and has managed to overcome economic difficulties no matter how difficult they are" and that his son "He dreams of becoming a policeman to prevent so much corruption in his country."
