Popular protests make babies not pay at the Olympic Games (if they are in arms)

The issue of how old a baby can go to a show or unpaid transportation is not clearly established in many places. This happened with the sporting events of the London Olympics, when many parents came up with the surprise that, after having bought their ticket, babies were not allowed to attend.

But the protests of many mothers, who even had their baby months after buying the ticket, has caused the organization of the Games to go back and accept that babies enter the headquarters for free, as long as they are in arms of an adult

Tickets for the Games were put on sale for the first time in March of last year, and since then some families have increased, so many mothers made outrageous comments on the web when they discovered that they could not take their babies to the Games unless they bought a ticket separately.

Following complaints and suggestions that the measure could violate the laws of sexual equality, the organizers agreed to review the situation.

The executive director of the London Organizing Committee 2012 (LOCOG) has indicated that

The baby, of course, must be under 12 months old and must be safely attached to the parent or a caregiver, a baby carrier or a sling (?)

LOCOG said its "babies in arms" policy will apply to all venues with the exception of Wembley Stadium, Newcastle's St James' Park, Manchester Old Trafford and North Greenwich Arena. In those places, existing license agreements say that all viewers require tickets regardless of age.

we hope that at the venues of the Olympic Games where babies are allowed to enter enjoy all the good sport, the little ones do not panic with the effusiveness of the elderly and that nobody puts their hands to the head if the babies are breastfed, which is another issue that is still "rare" in public, probably more in this context.
