Universia and Casa del Libro launch the largest digital library for the university field

In collaboration with University, Casadellibro.com reinforces its position as a reference library for students, not only in Spain but also in Latin America. And is that Casadellibro.com and Universia, the largest network of universities in the world, have presented the largest virtual library aimed at Spanish-speaking university students. This is an ambitious project launched to facilitate access to the largest catalog of university textbooks in this language for students from all over Spain and Latin America.

With this agreement, Casa del Libro strengthens and reaffirms its commitment to the Tagus digital reading ecosystem that we already talked about in Peques and Más. The university students of the 1,232 universities that make up the Universia network will be able to access with special conditions the Tagus reading device and the extensive catalog with more than 60,000 e-books. In Casa del Libro, university students will be able to carry out their segmented searches by specific categories, based on their university careers and select the titles that best fit their area of knowledge.

In addition the community of casadellibro.com will allow sharing with other registered students the comments and ratings of the books that you have downloaded in your library, and even post these comments on your social networks so that your classmates and contacts can see them.

And it is that the university environment is adapting to digital reading media with students demanding more and more works to read and consult to enrich their learning. The agreement between Universia and Casa del Libro is a good opportunity to access a rich catalog, with a strong orientation to digital technology with support in the Targus and with the ability to access what students say. We congratulate Universia and Casa del Libro for the agreement reached.
