I had the opportunity to do so and it is very nice to see you buy items by passing only the Corticoles card through the purchase terminal.

I think that the department stores have a characteristic that makes them unique, and if you are going to buy something and you are not sure what, you probably leave the space with a lot of bags and items that you could not imagine when you left home. However, and in times of crisis especially, it is possible that this way of buying changes and adapts to the times in which the selection of items is essential.

That is why I was surprised by the Back to School campaign of El Corte Inglés in 2012. Because it has had no difference with that of other years except, and that is always appreciated, 10% in the case of large families, financing of payment and competitive prices. And, in my opinion, these improvements seem scarce when you begin to see movements in the competition with offers of products at attractive prices or with an offer of purchases on the Internet that allows you to make purchases very comfortably.

I have spent several times during the summer in El Corte Inglés to buy material for the Back to School. Mainly clothing, footwear and school supplies.

My experience was not very satisfactory because of the sense of loss of time, although as I was on vacation I did not give it much importance. And it is that up to three times the seller had to go to the warehouse to get a good idea with the costumes he had to buy. After going the first time he had to repeat because he did not ask me if what he wanted to buy was for a boy or a girl and after bringing it he still had to go back to the store because he was wrong in what he had requested. The bad experience did not end there because when I asked for help to buy footwear, he sent me to another space in the department store, clearly losing purchase opportunities.

While I was buying the central box I had many more fathers and mothers buying material. I could not understand that a purchase, a return, a claim or a request for inventory was the same in the box. When I thought that I would not return after taking my shoes and accessories, at home we were surprised that the wardrobe, which seems to be placed randomly, forced me to make changes. So I had to go back. And what I found the next day was exactly the same. The same man who entered and left the warehouse, the same row of fathers / mothers waiting to be taken care of and the box in which the purchase was made, the return, the claim, the replenishment of inventory and also my change of clothing.

And now is when I wonder Isn't it possible to make a Back to School application on the Internet in which parents can choose what we want as we do each year? With all the information that is used in a large warehouse, experience in parents' buying habits, inventory management and estimated demand it would not seem very difficult to prepare at least one space in which to pick up the orders that we could have do online fathers or mothers.

The Vuelta al Cole is a gigantic campaign that takes place every year and always has a great impact on parents. And is that Every year we have kids we have to be aware of the renovation of the wardrobe, the update of the footwear and the replacement of accessories.

It would be very nice if new shopping experiences were developed so that parents would make it easier and easier.
