Seats to place the baby in the bathrooms of Ikea

Really going to a public toilet with a baby is an awkward situation. If it goes in your cart, we have to leave the door ajar to look at it and if not, run the risk that it touches everything, or worse, that it opens the door and escapes.

In most bathrooms there is no solution for these occasions, the only thing I knew so far was an impractical harness that I presented some time ago to hang the baby from the bathroom door while moms or dads do our matters.

But on a recent visit to Ikea, specifically that of San Sebastián de los Reyes in Madrid (I don't know if there are also other stores) I have seen something that seems like a great idea, a plastic chair installed on the wall with a seat belt to seat the baby there while we can take care of ours quietly.

Ikea is reputed to be “kids friendly”, that is, child friendly, with the premise that if children have fun, parents buy more. Although the store may have its drawbacks, it cannot be denied that it makes our visit to parents with children a lot easier.

What would be missing is that the bathrooms had diaper vending machines, and already put to order, as well as have baby food in the dining room, they also offered bottles ready to drink.

The truth is that I have been pleasantly surprised to see them, but I was restless if there will be the same seats in the men's bathrooms; I guess so.
