Boing opens a new family contest, developed by Zoopa, the next November 25 2012. The program will be presented by the journalist qualified in Physical Education, Juan Pablo Carpenter. The contest combines physical ability and skill tests, in addition to rounds of questions about different sports modalities. And all this in an interactive set using PlayStation technology.
At home we frequently see family programs of contests such as Family Games or be Boing. And we like them very much for what they have of healthy competition, of seeing the kids learning and challenging themselves, of seeing the families together and developing their strategies to achieve victory. So we have to celebrate a new contest, Play sports, as another example of entertaining and attractive content for the whole family.
In addition, the presenter Juan Pablo Carpintero, also professional athletes will appear in the program, like the cyclist Roberto Heras, the Olympic taekwondist Nico García, the skier Blanca Ochoa or the waterpolista Pedro García Aguado, whom we have already seen in another television program called Big Brother. All these professionals will try to help win the small participants.
The main novelty of the program is that the set is able to capture the movements of the contestants and moves them to a virtual sports scene with 3D reality. The competition format is that two pairs of children, aged 7 to 12 accompanied by an adult, will compete with each other using that virtual scenario. That must be seen because it sure is spectacular.
In Play Sports you can play ski, tennis, bowling, boxing, golf or archery using PlayStation® Move technology and the Sports Champions ™ 2 game.
The games seem very entertaining and demanding and also look great on television. For example, Foto-Finish is a panel with photographs that after a while hide and the contestants must remember. Replay demands to recognize the sport modality that reflects an unfocused image that becomes more and more clear as time goes by and Match Word that shows how a series of empty boxes are filled with letters to form a word. In physical tests you have to play Penguin Penalty and mark the maximum possible number of penalties. Also in Crazy Basket, the largest number of basketballs will have to be scored in a moving basket. Surely there are many more and they will be updated over time.
My daughter has already told me where to sign up because besides that the games look great there will be spectacular prizes. PlayStation products with their corresponding games like Gerónimo Stilton ™ or Sports Champions ™ 2 will not be missing.
