The ideal Christmas gift has an off button

Now that Santa Claus and the Magi are just around the corner, no doubt some parents tremble thinking about some of the gifts that our offspring ask insistently or, worse, those that by surprise will appear under the tree.

Although each family will have its own top five of the most hated toys by parents, it is almost certain that we agree that The ideal Christmas gift has an off button.

Santa Claus brought Dora's backpack to my oldest son a couple of years ago, a toy that incredibly passed all quality controls despite having a volume deafening and lack the power off button. The incessant song mooooooochila, mooooochila It sounded like a rag every time my son, at the time of two years, pressed his mouth.

As usually happens in these cases, the toy was a success that gave us months of fun and even recently inherited his little brother. As is often the case in those cases, the batteries have been eternal, although finally the shrill voice has passed to a better life.

Although it may seem less irritating, toys with flickering lights that there is no human way to turn off are equally unpleasant.

What to say about that red-eyed puppy that they sell in a lot of bazaar-type stores and that nuts any child!

Another category of crazy toys, perhaps the worst of all, is those that once you turn them on there is no way to shut up.

This is the case of these beautiful toy strollers that we buy ourselves with all our enthusiasm and affection and that now make our lives impossible, because the little one likes them very much.

In addition to a fairly high volume and flashing lights, they sing two or three songs over and over again to infinity. The car is silent only when someone turns it off, something that guarantees eternal minutes of hammering canned music, especially if the happy stroller has ended up under the sofa or any other furniture in the house that is difficult to access.

If you are a father and you have young children, you have surely reached this conclusion. If you still do not have children or are so old that you do not even remember, when you go to give away this Christmas, it will be solidary: if you buy a squeaky toy, please, have a power off button!

Oh, and not just any power off button, one childproof! Because they are more and more hustler with these technological things and some buttons are soooo easy to move that it is as if they carry nothing.

What do you think? Have you thought if your Christmas gift will the parents of creatures go crazy?
