Newton has arrived home, gravity in action of the Scientific Collection

He has already come home and we have already read it, Newton, gravity in action from Jordi Bayarri of the Scientific Collection. We remember that it is the third one that publishes and that they are works that it tries to bring, and it obtains, the history of science to the smallest. Before Newton have come Darwin and Galileo and then it will come Marie Curie. In this issue dedicated to Newton, the seventeenth-century scientist who promoted mathematics as a tool to explain theoretical physics and especially by the publication of the Law of universal gravitation. Furthermore, on page 26 the three principles of Newton's Law appear that should be known and understood to explain the reality that surrounds us.

He comic account, with those characters so tender that Jordi Bayarri draws, Newton's life from his childhood, in which he showed an enormous curiosity to explain what was happening, until his ordination as a gentleman For the Queen of England. And in the midst of his active participation in the Royal Academy of Science, which he presided over and promoted by incorporating new partners, scheduling conferences and promoting the dissemination of science. Although Newton is a scientist who needs little presentation, especially in high school and high school where you have to study it thoroughly, it is very good to access this comic to know him in a very fun and practical way.

As we had commented Newton, Gravity in action It has the same format as the previous ones, with dimensions of 24 × 17 centimeters, 48 full color interior pages and cardboard binding. In addition, and as patrons who have participated in Lanzanos, we have received a small book of cut-outs to set up scenes with Newton, his house, his inventions and his famous apple. In the Newton edition, Tayra Lanuza, a doctor in history of science and a postdoctoral researcher at CSIC, collaborates.

Congratulations to Jordi for his effort and enthusiasm and we encourage him to continue writing and promoting more projects. Meanwhile I continue to recommend his works also to be part of the libraries of the libraries of the schools.
