The video of the baby walking on the ledge of the window reminds us of the need to prevent accidents

Only three days ago Lola told us about the tips to prevent falls from windows and balconies, something that we must keep in mind because such a fall will always be serious, if not fatal.

To remember those tips, I bring you today a video that makes one of the worst nightmares my mother had (later I explain) and that made Miriam and I take special care with this. I speak of video (Horror) of a child walking on the ledge of the eighth floor window, for more than three minutes, until someone from inside gets it inside quickly.

My mother's nightmare

We lived in Logroño, on the seventh and last floor of a building where we were her, my father and five children. Impossible to control all of us, his greatest fear was to match up, to look out of a window or balcony and at night he dreamed that some of his children fell. It was a dream that was repeated often and even now it reminds us sometimes, the sweat that stuck at night dreaming of such misfortune.

That's why, because he told us many times, now that we live on the first floor we don't play it. Then, having the first one, we change the handlebars of the windows for ones that have a lock. That way we prevent what we can see in the video from happening to us.

But is that video real?

I don't know, but it doesn't really matter much either because even being false isn't something that can't happen anywhere in the world. The window is open, the child suddenly realizes that he is, curiosity calls him and begins to climb furniture, something he had never done and that his parents did not know what he could do and the usual thing happens: a child's silence is usually a sign that something fat is happening.

Three minutes, only three minutes, which are very little time for the mother or father, but eternal for the child, for the times when he looks out and crawls on the ledge. After three minutes the adult thinks "what will he be doing" and when he arrives he finds the scene.

Great care, really.
