Gamestart's summer school to learn to experiment with Minecraft

In Extra Life I have read that Arsgames / Gamestar (t) They continue to perform a fundamental task relating video games, education and learning so that children learn to have criteria and develop skills related to technology. And for next July they have prepared a summer school that focuses on the use of Minecraft. The challenge is to experiment with technology and develop creativity to the fullest. The 2013/14 course has had a clear protagonist in Minecraft, they say in Gamestar (t), so the summer school will make it easier for children to learn robotics, 3D design and printing, videogame development, digital movie creation, programming, Video capture, mobile application design and much more.

We remember that Gamestar (t) is the education and videogames project of the cultural association Arsgames. In Peques and More Interview A few months ago to María Rubio de Gamestar (t) who explained that video games represent a very powerful form of leisure and that they transmit cultural values. He also presented us with this project that began in 2010 thanks to the Creation Aids of Matadero (Madrid) and that since then does not stop growing incorporating: robotics, artistic creation with electronic material, film workshops, introduction to programming for girls and boys, etc.

Summer school is aimed at girls and boys from 7 to 18 years old Eager to become inventors of the future, with great enthusiasm for playing and learning in a fun environment, taking the reins of their time and learning. Summer school will be held Monday through Friday of July 14-25 from 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In the GameStar page (t) They report that they will pick up students every day at 8:30 in the Plaza de Legazpi in Madrid to go to Villaverde by public transport and then accompany them to Legazpi where they arrive at 14:30. Prices are, one week, 150 euros or two weeks for 220 euros. In addition, Gamestar (t) members have a significant discount that reduces the amount up to 200 euros and for all students who sign up they can wear a gift shirt.

Is a very interesting summer camp and very different from the usual ones. For all those kids who want to know and practice with technology, I think it is a very attractive option and that parents will like to know the progress that can be made with video games.
