One of the works of "Body painting" in the prettiest pregnancy I've seen

I have spoken on more than one occasion of "Body painting" in pregnancy because it seems to me a beautiful and funny way to take advantage of the ways a pregnant woman's body acquires to make art. Yes, it's true, it's an ephemeral art It only lasts a few hours and whose purpose is nothing more than having a good time and finally immortalizing the moment. Now, isn't it true that a pregnancy is also ephemeral if we compare it with the rest of our lives? And is not also the birth, and yet we always remember it?

Because of that, because it is still art, I bring you today one of the works of "Body painting" in the prettiest pregnancy I've seen. It is not especially realistic (there are more impressive artists in this regard), but the tones that have been used, the reason and the balance of all this make you have a good time looking at it, appreciating the details and enjoying the body of the pregnant woman " inside".

"Inside", in quotes, because the drawing tries to show us what the pregnant woman's body looks like if we could take a look inside. We would find the uterus with the baby inside, the cord that joins it with the placenta, the bladder, the rectum ... well, you don't need to name everything. Surely, taking a look, thanks to the natural science classes of the school, you can name everything.

The drawing is made by the artist Marieke Crone, who is dedicated to "Body painting" in Holland and has a page called Skin & Scones, the photograph is by Leonie Versantvoort, who came up with the idea of drawing, and the model , an important part of the equation, is Kristine Smits.

Here I leave you with a very large photo of the work, so you can see it more clearly:
