Tribute to the "mamma": Dolce & Gabbana parade with pregnant women, babies and children

We usually see children on the catwalk teaching fashion collections, but this time it has been a very special parade. The designers Dolce & Gabbana wanted to pay a tribute to the mothers with a collection inspired by the Italian "mamma" from the 60s.

But this time not only the dresses were the protagonists on the catwalk, but also the children of the models who paraded with their babies and children, in addition to one of the designers' muses, Bianca Balti, six month pregnant.

The appointment was yesterday at Milan Fashion Week, where designers presented their collection for next season. Lace dresses, embroidery with phrases of love to mom, children's scribbles and, above all, red roses to pay tribute to mothers on the catwalk.

I enjoyed watching this display of references to motherhood and childhood memories on the catwalk. In addition to being a very nice show, it gives the feeling that the models are not only cardboard figures that walk on a catwalk, but they are working mothers who will also juggle to make work and family life compatible as many others do.

I leave you with some of the beautiful images of the parade.
