She and her husband tried everything and finally got pregnant thanks to a fertility treatment. She has managed to be a mother at 65 after trying all her life and has left a message to all women who want to be mothers: "Never give up".
Thanks to fertility treatments, these cases of older mothers no longer sound so strange to us. A few days ago we talked about a 65-year-old woman pregnant with quadruplets who is already a mother and grandmother, but she wanted to live the experience of motherhood again.
In the case of Haya, although in Israel it is illegal to undergo such treatments with more than 54 years (no details have been given on how he did it), he underwent a fertilization treatment (it is not specified whether he had undergone before to some). As soon as the pregnancy was confirmed, her pregnancy was treated as high risk for all the complications that it could bring, but her baby was born by caesarean section in perfect condition with 2.6 kilos of weight.
When we know these cases of mothers with the age of being grandmothers, we always ask ourselves the same questions. First of all, the desire to be a mother at any price (or rather, at any age)? Have they thought about the child? At 65, they don't have enough energy to raise a baby. When your child is 15, he will be 80. He will still be a child and she will be an old woman, if she still lives. But on the other hand, who are we to judge about the desire to be a mother?
