The unfortunate Paypal Christmas announcement that suggests that Santa Claus does not exist

Bells and Christmas campaigns are beginning to ring. One of the first of the year, or at least the most popular, has been the unlucky Paypal Christmas announcement, issued in the United Kingdom at a time suitable for children, which suggests that Santa Claus does not exist.

The announcement is what you can see in the video below and although what they wanted to highlight is the speed of the PayPal service, it has caused the unwanted effect receiving hundreds of criticisms from parents accusing them of having ruined children's Christmas.

The announcement shows two brothers very worried because Christmas is coming and the parents have not yet gone to buy the gifts, implying that Santa Claus does not exist and it is the parents who are responsible for buying Christmas gifts.

Complaints have reached the Advertising Standards Authority, an advertising regulatory body, but for the moment they have only decided to issue the announcement during child protection hours, starting at 9 p.m.

I can imagine the puzzled faces of the little British after seeing the ad. Surely many parents will have had to give explanations before such an unfortunate message although Paypal, to get out of the way, has said that it does not mean that Santa Claus does not also bring gifts.
