The beautiful paintings painted by babies before birth to save those who are not born

Many of the babies that are born in poor countries will never be born, because they will not be able to survive their own birth. With the intention of helping them survive, of decreasing the number of babies who will not even know their parents, a group of pregnant mothers decided to create a curious campaign in which those who lend a hand were, in fact, your babies from the womb.

With a canvas on one side and brushes hooked to their bellies, the paintings depended mostly on the movements that babies made inside the belly, so that create beautiful paintings that would later be auctioned for funds.

It happened in Belgium, in 2011

The campaign is not new, but it is now when it is going viral, appearing on pages like Daily Mail, Real Time News or Bored Panda. It was carried out in 2011 and people could bid to buy one of the paintings or buy a painting set to make their own painting at home.

We do not know how much they raised, but we wanted to show the works by how nice to see how the process is, how babies move and paint, without knowing it, canvases. And also for the beautiful meaning of the campaign. In the video that I put below you can see everything:

Brushes and canvas, an advanced pregnancy and chocolate

If you want to do something similar, the recipe is very simple. Use brushes that can hold the belly well, long so that they oscillate a little more, a canvas on which to paint, paint and wait for the pregnancy to be a little advanced so that the baby moves more (the Belgian mothers carried to babies between 32 and 39 weeks of gestation). Do it at the time of day that moves the most and eat some chocolate before, so that the chances of success are greater.

The result is not really incredible, but few couples can say that the picture they have hanging on the wall was made by their baby before birth, right?
