A couple adopts seven brothers who were separated in different shelters

A couple from Florida, DaShoan and Sofia Olds, have been married for thirteen years, but have no biological children. They had considered adoption, but when they learned the story of the seven brothers through a local television it was a signal, they felt a special connection, as if they were destined.

The couple began the procedures to adopt the seven brothers, three girls and four boys, who were separated in four different shelters. They never thought of adopting one or two brothers, if they did, it would be the seven.

"My wife and I were blessed with a house that was too big for us. It would be very selfish of us to have the space just for ourselves and not offer our house to them."

"This is a unique opportunity that will change the lives of seven children today and a family for life," the placement manager told ABC News.

Dava, Erica, Eric, Zavian, Leondras, Reginald and Necia arrived on June 2 at the Olds' house, although the adoption will be official in September, when the seven brothers can finally live with their adoptive parents definitely under the same roof.

A beautiful history of humanity that will forever change the life of the couple and the seven brothers.
