An 18-year-old boy used LEGO to have an arm prosthesis and take objects

Probably all people know LEGO and will know that with their pieces and blocks in addition to playing, different types of projects and creations can be made, such as using jelly molds or teaching children math.

But undoubtedly one of the uses they have been given and that has left the same LEGO company with its mouth open, is the one made by an 18-year-old create an arm prosthesis with LEGO parts and that allows you to take objects.

David Aguilar is a boy from Andorra, who was born with a malformation that prevented his forearm and hand from developing normally. Since childhood he has been a fan of LEGO and when he was 9 years old he created an arm with the pieces he had, joining them with adhesive tape.

David is currently pursuing high school technology and thanks to his knowledge of robotics, an arm with LEGO pieces has been created again, but now much better than the one he had done as a child.

Now, David's new arm prosthesis allows him to take objects. He built it with parts he had from a helicopter he had assembled, making them fit in the best possible way.

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, David shows how he built this prosthetic arm with LEGO pieces and we can see how he can take objects without them falling.

Awesome, right?

For his part, David's father, very proud of the creation of his son, shared on his Facebook account the reaction of LEGO when he saw the arm that the young man had created using his pieces.

Like LEGO we are surprised by David's creation and it is certainly admiring the ingenuity he has.
