Eat to grow

A book that we had borrowed (of those that you never see again) and that we have casually remembered today to recommend it especially to first-time moms and dads worried about knowing everything about their child's diet is Eat to grow.

Its author, Mª José Rosselló, a specialist in dietetics and human nutrition, provides us with a good explanation about basic foods, with their nutritional values and how they act in the body, a detailed guide to the foods that can be introduced into the baby's diet Month by month, how to prepare the first porridge, different menus for each age, from birth to 12 years and always respecting the first months of exclusive breastfeeding. It also offers recommendations on the food that children should take in case they have any health problems such as diarrhea or constipation, fever, lack of appetite and even if the child is overweight and should restrict the consumption of certain foods.

As we say, it is a very useful and enjoyable book, a jewel that will help us know that we provide our children with adequate food at each stage of their development, both physical and intellectual.

Eating to grow is in bookstores at a price of around 18 euros. A small price for great information.
