Pippi Longstocking, a bad example for children?

Surely many of the readers of Babies and more will remember a television series that was able to capture the attention of all children, we refer to Pippi Longstocking. Many children of the 60's and 70's generation were fascinated by that girl with long and stiff braids and with a superhuman strength, the imagination was very important and the series managed to wrap us in their world.

For many adults, the series or the book were transgressive instruments and not adequate, being a bad example for children because I taught them a different concept of family, way of life, school ... in short, nothing a child should normally do. The challenge of the rules of society is perhaps what allowed Pippi Calzaslargas to obtain so much triumph, in fact, many years later they have continued to make repositions of the series and have also captivated the children. Today you can still find the DVDs of the adventures of Pippi Longstocking with those characters so endearing in the series, Little Uncle, Tommy, Annika or Mr. Nilson.

It is an interesting gift for our children to learn, enjoy and develop their imagination. We can also choose to provide you with a book, this will be able to seduce you and introduce you to the world of reading, for this there are books adapted to all ages.

By the way, what do you think about the character?
