A few days ago Lola gave us some very interesting facts about abortion in Spain that have been published by the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs. I have been reading the publication and I have found figures I did not know that I found interesting publication.
As the post title says, 660 women aborted last year for the sixth time in their livesAt a minimum, since statistics say they previously aborted "5 times or more."
There is a need for an abortion law (as it already exists) since it would not be logical for women to go to jail for this reason. It is possible that a condom is broken, that there is some forgetfulness in taking the contraceptive pill or even that in some hot A woman gets pregnant. It is also possible that adolescence, lack of awareness of the danger or lack of information causes an unwanted pregnancy to occur.
I think that we all agree so far to affirm that the decision to abort is personal and respectable. However, having a person undergo six abortions seems like a tremendous system abuse, a lack of worrying ethics and a deficit of responsibility towards his own important body.
In addition, six abortions cannot be attributed to six condom tears, six forgetfulness of the pill or six heaters. Normally it takes many attempts to get pregnant if we consider that the chances of pregnancy under normal conditions are approximately 25% each month.
Of the 660 women, 1 was between 15 and 19 years old and 46 women between 20 and 24 years old. 46 women from Spain, with 24 years or less, underwent six or more abortions until last year. Something is failing and I don't know what it is, whether the women or the centers that perform the abortions, the gynecologists or the psychiatrists who value the case as a risk to the mental health of the mothers. In the previous post we could read that the average profile of the woman who aborts is single, salaried and childless. A total of 54,140 women respond to this description.
