Save on the purchase of the pregnancy test

When we suspect pregnancy, the first thing we do is run to the pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test that confirms our doubts. Sometimes we buy more than one to make sure we have done well or have not given us a false negative, with the expense that this entails.

If you are looking for a pregnancy and your trips to the pharmacy are becoming too common, as things are lately it is not enough to hear some advice to save on the purchase of the pregnancy test.

When we go to the pharmacy it is more common to ask for a Predictor instead of a pregnancy test. It is the typical example of how a brand has become the name of a product.

The price of the Predictor is around 16.50 euros, but there are pregnancy tests of other brands that are cheaper and have the same reliability to measure the concentration of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin hormone (hCG) in urine, whose levels increase when there is pregnancy. All can be done at any time of the day, although it is recommended to do it with the first urine in the morning because it has a higher concentration.

The price of tests of brands that are not so popular can be around 6.50 euros, which means a saving of 10 euros in the purchase of each pregnancy test.

Without going any further, as we announced in the blog a few days ago, the new Clearblue pregnancy test has gone on sale at a price that is around 10 euros and avoids confusion in the reading of hair lines thanks to its new digital system.

Another way to save is not to rush and do the test at the right time. The result will not be reliable if the test is performed before the first day of delay.
