Nestlé withdraws a batch of Naturnes porridge

The company Nestlé has proceeded to withdraw a lot of the product “Carrots with steamed rice and hake” from its Naturnes range in plastic tub. The decision has been made by Nestlé "motu own" because they believe that the lot did not have the right texture for 8-month-old babies, since lumps that could cause choking were detected.

For this reason, and despite not having received any claim in this regard, Nestlé has decided to voluntarily replace the following lot on the market: Carrots and steamed rice with hake Naturnes, Lot with countermarks: 82270803E1 and 82270803E2. Preferred date of consumption: August 2009.

The problem is caused by improper cooking and the brand ensures that the quality of the ingredients was not diminished, but its texture. The issue has already been resolved.

Nestlé clarifies that there is no other variety of its affected Naturnes range and makes available to its consumers a telephone helpline (900 334 444) to which they can go to answer any questions about it.
