The game (not sport) is the best exercise for kids

Physical activity is essential for integral growth. Practicing exercise is very important for children because among other things it strengthens bones and muscles and prevents diseases such as childhood obesity.

In the childhood everything goes through the game, and exercise too, or so it should be. A pleasant activity that children do with pleasure, for fun and without pressure.

A sports medicine pediatrician believes that children are very early in sports when they enjoy and take advantage of the benefits of active play.

I fully agree with what this pediatrician says because the really enriching when we talk about children of three, four, five or six years (the ages of which we speak in Babies and more) Is the game. Through it, without realizing it, they benefit from the practice of exercise.

Games like biking, rollerblading, playing hide and seek, ball or jumping are ideal for children of those ages. It keeps them entertained and on the move contributing to their psychomotor development and to interact with other children.

They should not feel obliged to follow a certain technique to move or hit a ball, the fundamental thing is that they move freely, that they feel good when exercising, playing with their own body and enjoying it. They will have time to apply technique to the movement.

Nobody says that it is bad to start them little by little in a sport that they are passionate about but never with demands, nor competitions, as far as the child wants and always through the game.
