Pocoyo awards the Goya award for best animated film

The Goya Awards are the most important dedicated to cinema in Spain, to understand us, they are like our Oscars. One of the funniest moments of yesterday's gala was when Pocoyo appeared by surprise to deliver the award for the animated film.

Pocoyo himself in flesh and pixels appears on the stage next to Andreu Buenafuente, outlining some words, and accompanied by the omnipresent voice in off that is heard in the cartoon series that dazzles the smallest of the house.

But Pocoyo's appearance is not accidental, as the Film Academy proposed to Internet users that they chose the host of the gala themselves, and Pocoyo won. It would have been a bit complicated for the boy to present the entire gala, especially since at that time he should already be sleeping, but he did appear to deliver even this award for the best animation.

Buenafuente dialogues with the child and the narrator, trying to convince him that he is too small to present the gala and that he cannot do it in pajamas. In the end, dressed as a superhero, he announces the finalist films, although there is a small setback at the end: Pocoyo has lost the envelope with the winner.

The nominated cartoon films were "Animal Channel", "Cher Ami", "Perez, the little mouse of your dreams 2" and the winner that many will know for the great international popularity it has achieved, and success among children and adults, "Planet 51 ”.

My oldest daughter has been surprised when I put the video, I think it has not been very square to see the character of drawings in a real scene with real people. I recommend you take a look at this endearing moment with Pocoyo delivering a film prize at the Goya gala, very funny.
