"Once upon a time it was ... thousands of miles away." Readeo is a website that allows families to connect and interact by reading stories, seeing and listening live on the Internet, even being separated.
Readeo was created in 2009 by a family that lived far away from grandparents and considered that the relationship with them, by telephone and distance, was insufficient. Reading together became the vehicle to establish and strengthen the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren.
Today, Readeo combines children's books (in English) with a reliable video chat to create a shared reading experience called "BookChatTM" through which users can see, hear, read and interact with their little grandchildren, nephews ...
To access all the advantages and the complete Readeo library, you have to register paying a fee (the first 14 days of the trial are free), although only one of the connecting parts is necessary, since the other one accesses as invited.
