Highlights in Babies and more: August 16-22

Like every Monday, we review the most outstanding contents that we have published in the blog throughout the last week.

Sometimes the memory of childbirth is not as pleasant as we would like, and in relation to this issue we have reflected on the moment when the baby turns one year old and the memory is traumatic, and we have also brought good news for mothers who find in this situation and need it: the creation of Listening with the heart, a network of emotional support for post-traumatic post-traumatic stress.

Playing other funniest songs, we have known that David the Gnome returns to television even for a day, and we have delighted in this nice video with the weekly changes of pregnancy.

Many times our children wear the pacifier too much, and remember that you can't talk like that. For other skills, such as walking, contraptions are sometimes used that theoretically help children to walk. But we wonder, walker yes or no?

Another issue that we have touched on a lot this last week has been that of the only children, knowing on the one hand that being an only child does not affect social skills and on the other, that having siblings is positive for children. What is your case?

We talked about interesting topics related to genetics, with the post referring to genes and chromosomes and about genetic research and your family. The series on educating without hitting with keys to recognize and control anger continues, and we have also reflected on a subject in which many parents will be reflected: the father's doubts in pregnancy.

Among the most commented posts, we also find those referring to the limitation of the sale of industrial pastries and soft drinks in schools, the high percentage of pregnant women who thought they had a natural birth and change their minds or about the malicious use of drugs with children.

We hope that this compilation of posts from the last week has been interesting for you. We will continue working to bring the most attractive, fun and useful content to the blog, and next week we will summarize them in a new selection of Highlights of Babies and More.
