The beetle and the milk can

A new problem detected in a breast milk substitute bottle has made it necessary to withdraw 5 million units of the Similac brand product from Abbot laboratories in the United States. A beetle was found inside a batch of cans of powdered milk.

And it is not an unimportant thing, even though according to the manufacturers it could only produce abdominal irritation, but, in my opinion, it makes it necessary to ask about the hygiene and safety in the factories of these sensitive products.

There are never enough precautions when it comes to artificial milk, as it is a product that can be contaminated and reaches the consumer without being able to be sterilized except in liquid presentations.

A baby who feeds on artificial milk should receive this milk exclusively and must also ensure its health security, the absence of additives or contamination and, above all, that no bugs fall into the boat or walk through the factory.

The beetle's finding made the sanitary alarms of the company and has ordered the elimination of several lines of powdered products of this brand.

The truth is that it seems disgusting and very worrying, because the health of children is important, priority, and the guarantees must be total, something that does not happen it seems that nowhere. And I think that, even if they found it in time, the control mechanisms fail in the most basic if a beetle can be cast in the batch of artificial milk.
