A London mother is expelled from a pub for breastfeeding her baby

It seems that with all the information that runs today and with the normalization of breastfeeding again things like this should not continue to happen and yet they happen (I hope that less frequently each time).

A British woman was expelled from a London pub for breastfeeding her seven-month-old daughter Mollie. The 25-year-old woman, whose name is Lauren Beaman, explained after the event that while inside the pub some clients began to bother to breastfeed her daughter and that there were those who advised her to go to the toilets to breastfeed. "Would you like to have dinner in the sink?", the young mother told them. He also added that she was very surprised by the event because they made her feel uncomfortable when she had been discreet.

After the incident, the owner of the premises forced the woman, her daughter and a friend who was pregnant to leave the premises. According to the equality law that has been in force since last year, an establishment cannot prohibit a mother from breastfeeding in public, however, the owner of a premises has a legal right to expel any person if they deem it convenient.

As the owner of the pub explained, some clients complained that the woman would take off her breast in public and others even expressed her fear that the mother would change the girl's diapers right there. He also commented that She is not against breastfeeding, but if clients complain, she must act (I mean, if it's about making money, I leave the principles at home).

Now, Lauren Beaman is studying the possibility of protesting together with other nursing mothers to carry out a "collective breastfeeding", which is usually the resource of choice when things like this happen. In case of carrying it out, she will finally do it when her friend, also expelled, gives birth to her baby.

Honestly it is hard to believe that something like this continues to happen and that people actively complain about a woman who breastfeeds her daughter. I imagine that on this occasion several people felt uncomfortable before the act of eating and it was missing that one verbalized the complaint so that the rest would give their support.

In any case, objectively seeing what happened, it's quite ridiculous (I imagine the scene and it seems even surreal) expel a mother who feeds her baby and pregnant friend from one place, as if they were spontaneous exhibitionists or something similar.
