After three days of talking about everything related to the homeopathy for babies and, in fact, with homeopathy in general, today I want to go one step further to the nut with a video to show that homeopathic dilutions end up being water And nothing but water.
Surely more than one of you have heard of those "taraos" that one day decided to perform a homeopathic suicide, taking not know how many balls and prepared without noticing any effect. Well, I wanted to play with the same thing but not with a homeopathic preparation bought, but with one that I made myself.
As we are in Babies and more and the goal is always to talk about babies up to six years or mothers and fathers, I thought about giving the preparation to one of my children, but I immediately regretted it. I was only going to give him tap water, which is what remains when you dilute something to satiety, but it didn't seem ethical to prepare a homeopathic “poison” and show the whole world how one of my children drinks it, who has no idea What's the matter about? So to avoid having to explain to anyone, I decided that I would drink it myself.
In the video everything is more or less explained, but I make a summary:
I bought a poison for cockroaches, ants and other insects and I diluted it until I reached 20 CH concentration, which I drank. Then I followed up to 30 CH, which according to homeopaths has more effect on the body, and I drank it too. Nothing happened to melogically because a preparation from 12 CH is only water. Water and nothing else.
Those who defend homeopathy will say that if what I took causes unconsciousness, abdominal pain, respiratory problems, diarrhea and vomiting taking undiluted, diluted up to 30 CH should be something like a treatment for symptoms such as abdominal pain, respiratory problems, diarrhea and vomiting But how will something that is just water treat me? How is it possible that something that has no effect cures? Well, by no means, because water does not cure.
If we believe that what I prepared is a really homeopathic remedy for all the comments we should believe things as absurd as that for a person with heartburn we have to give something that produces even more burning, but diluted, than for a child with bronchitis horse with a low oxygen saturation, instead of giving oxygen to breathe, we have to breathe a little carbon dioxide (or some substance that causes diluted respiratory problems), you have to drink diluted coffee to sleep (well , this is true, there is the coffea as a homeopathic remedy) or that if our child is allergic to something and for some reason comes into contact with the allergen and makes a beastly reaction, in which his body is releasing histamine to mansalva, you have to give histamine (Although now that I think this is also true, there is histamine as a homeopathic remedy for allergy sufferers).
I do not want to imagine the face that would be given to those of the Emergency Department of a hospital if, before such a reaction, I go and take out the allergy rescue kit. They are preparing antihistamines, corticosteroids or adrenaline, if it is a severe reaction, and I take out my tube of Histaminum 30 CH:
Homeopathy is a lie. I already said the first day that I was the first embarrassed, because a medicine without side effects was wonderful. The problem is that it also has no primary effects beyond placebo, as we saw in the previous entries, where hundreds of well done studies have not been able to demonstrate any effect.
