Jorge Blass leads the magicians who display their talent in the II Festival of Magic of the Circus Price Theater

On television I believe that magic has practically disappeared from the grill and with some exceptions, what remains is practically relegated to specific episodes of entertainment that basically serve as fillers. In the 80s and 90s it was usual to watch magic shows on television that were led by the great magician Juan Tamariz. These programs could be recorded and try to watch at home with the video forward-reverse, to get the tricks. And when I was younger I worried more about knowing how the tricks were done that the show in question.

One of the programs that do broadcast from time to time on television, and on the Internet there are a lot of videos as my daughter has taught me, is "Magic without secrets" and the truth is that uncle is a horror for the profession of Wizard! Now I don't want to know the tricks anymore, I just want to discover the magician with his numbers, his work, his ability, his way of speaking and moving, etc. And all that and much more can be discovered in the proposal made by the Circus Price Theater by programming the II Festival of International Magic that surely has already established itself as a world reference.

And I could see one of the functions that are scheduled and announced in Peques and More a few weeks ago. All the proposals I attended were fascinating though the one that far exceeds all expectations is Jorge Blass.

Jorge's talent, which already pointed to ways since he was a kid, is very large and his numbers are beautiful, classic, original and deeply innovative. One of his spectacular moments was that of make someone from the public have to use Facebook, interact with the wall and especially with friends to develop a classic but totally modern and updated number using social networks as an excuse. Another of the great numbers that Jorge made was to make a girl disappear on stage by covering her with a beautiful red cape with a hood included. Now it is, now it is gone.

And there were many more numbers. Fascinating the number of ARNO with the birds that ends spectacularly with two lustrous parrots in the arms of the magician. CHARLIE FRYE & CO is an American magician who juggles and magic visually and at full speed. He got the kids and adults hallucinated with the display of rhythm and synchronization of their performance.

The Frenchman, I think because he kept fooling us, GAETAN BLOOM, presented a number that I have seen on YouTube that he already did in the One, Two, Three. His number of magic up close, but that looks perfectly from afar, is fascinating with that Kiwi, orange and grapefruit in search of a career of success and especially a broken card.

We also saw fast and skillful fingers with the South Korean magician AN HA LIM who filled the stage with cards that kept coming out of his hands. The comic number was a constant in the program and the Australian artist RAYMOND CROWE one of its best representatives. Raymond made us laugh with his occurrences and moved us with a final number of tremendously clean Chinese shadows.

And that's it. If you have occasion go through the Price and you will have fun with the best magic numbers in the world.
