Summer is practically forgotten, at least for us, the parents who have been working for a couple of weeks ... As for the children, they already start thinking about the new course, if they will continue their friends forever, if there will be new partners, what will your new class be like ... the new teacher ...
The back to school It is an accumulation of emotions for children, a mixture of illusion with a hint of "fear", that anxiety towards something new that affects both children and adults. I remember with great enthusiasm when I was a child and the week before starting the new course, my mother took me to buy a new backpack, cases, pencils, maybe I would not have needed so much but I remember that I was immensely happy and I think it made me go with more you want to class.
Today I am going to propose an activity that you can prepare the day before the first day of the course, this will cause that anxiety and nerves of that day to be reduced during a few hours. I propose that you prepare with your child a gift for the teacher of the new course: cupcakes for cooking with apple-shaped children.
To prepare the cupcakes, you can use any cake recipe what do you want, you only need a few cupcakes (Red ones can be perfect with the final design we want to give). If you do not know where to buy them, there are hundreds of websites where they sell these pieces of paper and send them home, in specialized stores they are called capsules.
Here is my recipe for vanilla cupcakes infallible, it has considerably less sugar and butter than the usual cupcake recipes.
Once you have the cupcakes ready, I tell you how to make them look apple-shaped, it's very simple:
To make apple-shaped cupcakes we need:
- cupcakes
- vanilla buttercream
- cookie sticks or pretzels
- green chocolate balls (known as candy melts), failing that you can use any green candy with a rounded shape to simulate the apple leaf
- red sugar (if you don't have one already prepared, you can do it yourself with a few drops of food coloring)
How to decorate cupcakes
- We start by spread the cupcakes with the buttercream, it does not have to be beautiful, simply protruding above the paper and more or less rounded.
- Sprinkle the cupcake (already with the buttercream) with the red sugar. To make it perfect, you must put a plate under and pour the sugar over the buttercream so that it is perfectly impregnated. You can take advantage of the sugar that falls on the plate below.
- For the apple sticks, we stick the pretzel stick in the center of the cupcake.
- Then we cut the green candy melts in half moons and place them next to the sticks so that they look like apple leaves.
To wrap the cupcakes as a gift we will need:
- transparent plastic cups
- cellophane bags
- ribbon or string to tie the bag

We cover the cupcakes with the papers we have printed (if we want to use them) and then put them in the plastic cup. We put the glass in the bag of celfóna and close with the cord.
