On a wall they create a giant matrix full of huge pixels that also move!

The artistic collective J o n p a s a n g He has created this spectacular matrix full of giant pixels and used it Hyundai in Korea during a presentation of their vehicles at a motor show. It is fascinating and hypnotic to see the apparently simple operation of cubes or pixels moving forward or backward and creating those curious images that seem to have movement.

It reminded me a lot of the presentation of the Kinetic Rain of the Singapore airport that we recently commented. Perhaps it is one of the artistic representations that come to us for the future and that work with great elegance and high visual impact technology.

The artistic collective that made this installation is called J o n p a s a n g and one of its yangsookyun members, has a channel on Vimeo that explains how it was done. It is spectacular to see the iron structures and the assembly, piece by piece, with so many devices and cables to move the hand-mounted cubes one by one. The video does not show the intelligence of the matrix that I imagine has to be fascinating to program.

It seems to me that if art goes here, our children will be very prepared with their use of technology and the possibilities that it offers them.
