"Onomatopoeia": puppets show how the child's first years of life sound

We love children's theater. And within the genre, puppets are precious actors that make anyone dream. We want to approach today to a play for a preschool audience, "Onomatopoeia", which can be seen in Mexico D.F.

This puppet work, endorsed by several national awards, is represented until November 11 in the Forum the Grotto of the Hellenic Cultural Center of the capital. It is a story without words (or with a few, such as onomatopoeia) where the first years of life are reflected in an intuitive, very visual way, touching the emotions of the children.

"Onomatopoeia" is a creation of the Mexican company Astillero Teatro, a collective creation aimed at children, which shows, through two puppets, how children begin to experience their first emotions when using the senses: touch, smell, hearing, taste and sight, as well as knowing their surroundings and establishing friendly relationships.

The play for children "Onomatopoeia" It is represented on Sundays at 1:00 p.m., the entrance costs 100 pesos and lasts about 45 minutes. I leave you with his interesting synopsis:

Sometimes, when we want to imitate an animal, an action or express an emotion we use sounds that we call onomatopoeia. In this work they show us, together with two small puppets, how the children make a journey in their first years of life and discover the surroundings that surround them and, at the same time, make their first decisions about the encounters, flavors, smells and losses that are experiencing to discover the world from the theater.
