More than 20 attractions in Futuroscope to enjoy and have fun with the family

We have already commented that Futuroscope cannot be seen in one day. Its more than 20 attractions require you to dedicate at least a couple of days to visit the park and not miss a detail of this space dedicated to the future and that although it has just turned 25 it is still a reference in innovative, fun and very familiar leisure .

The park is full of Outdoor playgrounds for children to develop their imagination. These areas shine in summer where you can take full advantage of the water leisure areas with bicycles in the water, water jets, swimming pools in which children can 'pedal' with their hands and even a park dedicated to the creations of Leonardo da Vinci

One of the 20 most spectacular attractions is that of iMagic. It is a complete session of magic led by Bertran Lotth and has also just been awarded as a show of the year 2012-2013. And everything in iMagic is taken care of to the last detail during the 30 minutes of the magic session. We loved Bertran because in addition to elegant, fun, dominating the scene and with incredible tricks, makes the whole show room participate. Thus, there is a moment in which he asks for the participation of the public and, in this case, a girl plays to take coins from her hair, ears, nose, even from her own hand! And all this with the continued surprise of the little girl who can't understand how she carried so many coins on her.

There are several numbers in which the magician takes advantage of the grandeur of the room to perform his show. We loved the helicopter number in which his assistant appears although there the magician does not remain calm and decides that he can do something even more spectacular and that he deserves to see himself. The number I liked the most is the one that disappears from the stage turned into a rolled paper that when launched from a cannon drops, in addition to a lot of paper rolls, its full body and ready for a new number. In the video that can be seen below are shown some details of a fantastic performance by purest Las Vegas style.

Another of the great attractions is the number dedicated to The Little Prince (Le Petit Prince). This is a great adventure in which attendees participate through the mechanisms created in the interactive room that include movement and sensory experiences. During the 20 minutes of attraction we attend the Little Prince's journey through the planets with his pet fox to rescue Rosa. My daughter says that she looked a lot like the series that can be seen on television although it was longer and of course the screen, in 3D, is a much more amazing experience.

There are also lots of spaces in the park where we can take amazing photographs. Here we had time, although the effect was not completely achieved, to simulate that we were holding the imposing ball while touring the attractions.

The projection of Cyberworld, in an imposing Imax, he showed us during the 37 minutes that the movie lasted, the history of programming codes with viruses and the cleaning necessary for everything to work again. Fragments of these impressive images of the song appear during the film Release of the Pet Shop Boys.

And the great avenues of Futuroscope took care of the traveler's attention with shops to consume products, souvenirs and make the stay very pleasant. You could also find surprise visitors, like these nice robots.

The screening of the documentary Sky and sea travelers by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, it is performed in a gigantic room where the images are projected on the largest screen I've seen in my life because in addition to the huge surface it is also projected below your feet. It is a journey through the nature of a lot of animals in which a wraparound effect with a fantastic projection is achieved. Is a very technical show in which many hours of recording and editing have been invested for a final result full of nature. The definition of the images is amazing and the sensation of being transported to the sky and the sea attending live is really achieved.

Another show that deserves to be exploited for its dynamism in the simulator and the fun of the projection is that of the I want to get married! Suddenly we are in a train where a mysterious traveler discovers that the station in which he had to get off has been lost so he must do something to get off the train, recover lost time and get to the wedding. From the moment in which the traveler looks at the train tracks we begin to be part of the story. In a two-seater simulator we will start to shake, move forward, back and sides while the boyfriend on the screen do not stop happening things: participate in a car race at high speed, fly through rivers and cities, participate in an urban rally full of fun moments and especially share your trip with a magic tree that will help you in your adventure. In addition, that magic tree, does not stop sneezing and the simulator is responsible for making us feel with some jets of water that children do not stop surprising them. It is a promotion attraction of the Vienne region, in which Futuroscope is located, and which is called La Vienne Dynamique.

Another of the simulators we tested was the Dynamic film festival. We projected the fun adventure in which a pizza maker loses, in a city of the future, his pizza in the engine of the flying car of an attractive girl. The whole attraction is how the pizza maker can regain control of the situation and especially ensure that the girl does not crash once her car is subjected to the force of gravity. And while your seat, is occupied by four people at once, is subjected to turns, movements, which make the 3D environment live intensely.

And we also laugh at the attraction of 8th Continent. This is a trip on a jet ski from which we participated in a fantastic trip shooting at the sea monsters that appear on the screen and we try to save the good ones and of course nature. The simulator includes final presentation of the scores made to be able to show off and compete the whole family to see who kills more bugs.

For the end I leave two imposing attractions. The first is Sea monsters, a spectacular adventure in a 3D Imax in which you can travel to the past with prehistoric animals. The story of the journey of a couple of animals, similar to today's dolphins, is told through the seas that flooded the earth millions of years ago. That is the excuse to attend a Fantastic projection with an extraordinary setting, making the most of the 3D glasses, with an outstanding animation in which you can see the evolution of the animals of the past. It is also complemented by a fossil search story that is used to recreate the wild past of those animals. This attraction, like many others in the park, has very well done simultaneous translation systems that allow you to attend to all the details of the projection without missing anything.

And the last attraction we visited before we left, in a pleasant 10-minute walk to the Plaza Hotel that was next to Futuroscope Park, was the great night show in which there are fantastic games of lights, water and music. Thus, images that tell a story about the music that fills the auditorium are projected on water curtains. The jets of water from the fountains and the fireworks will be the grand finale of a complete visit full of adventures to the Futuroscope Park.

Important note: I have been invited to the Futuroscope Park in West France that promotes three regions of western France (Poitou-Charentes, Pays de la Loire and Brittany) in Spain.
