The doodle for Mother's Day

You've probably seen it, but Google's doodle has been added to Mother's Day which is celebrated today in Spain and other countries. Thus, we can see in the image a mother honored by her children who give her a cake.

The first Sunday of May is chosen in some countries to celebrate Mother's Day following a remote tradition, from ancient Greece, where Goddess Rea, mother, according to mythology, of the gods Zeus, Hades and Poseidon.

The Romans also took this tradition with some modifications, called it Hilaria and it was celebrated every May 15 for three days in the Cibeles temple. The second Sunday of May or May 15 is the most extended date in the world to celebrate Mother's Day.

Doodles are illustrations "invented" by Google, back in 1998, who want to celebrate important dates throughout the year, anniversaries, events ... They are created by illustrators or "doodlers" and have surely "saved" more than one Reminding you of dates like Valentine. By the way, even doodlers merchandaising ...
