Susanita's Little Gallery invites us to the Cover the Cover exhibition with album covers illustrated with children's series

Cover the cover It is the seventh exhibition that organizes this original online gallery and presents a very funny collection of well-known covers of albums starring the most famous characters in the series of Cartoon Children and youth. Apparently Susana Rodríguez Escudero was inspired by the work of Loren (illustrator and storyteller) in which she mixed the cover of the album called Forever Change of the Love group with the characters of Adventure Time.

The exhibition includes 41 artists from different corners of the world that perform 46 works of different classic album covers. The inauguration was on June 16 in the Lunch Box & Tiki Room on the street of Barco de Madrid and we have until July 14, 2013 To stop by.

In the image above is the cover of the album The Joshua Tree by U2 although in this case they have called The Mazinger Tree and you can see Koji Kabuto (the pilot of Mazinger Z), Baron Ashler how bad it was !, Dr Hell, the evil brain, and Sayaka, the pilot of Aphrodite. The author is Jose Luis Ocaña.

It is a good time to take advantage and teach your children some of the original records, which many parents will have in LP version at home or in those of grandparents / grandmothers, and teach them that long before the series of current drawings there were large music groups doing great works and also extraordinary covers.

Seeing many of these covers enriched with the imagination of these artists is a special attraction and worth sharing with the kids. The exhibition can also be seen on the Susanita's Little Gallery page.
