Since I was a little monster and before entering college, Mike Wazowski already dreamed of becoming a scary and he knew, better than anyone, that the best scarers leave Monsters University (MU) rather than the Polytechnic. Although in the first semester at the MU, Mike's plans go to hell as he crosses the popular James P. Sullivan, Sulley, a scary born.
And it is that both friends take to the extreme the thing of becoming the best scares, one by excess and the other by default, so the two are expelled from the prestigious University Scare Program. And that is the origin of Sulley and Wazowski's exciting and strong friendship that will eventually reach the desired job at Monsters S.A. from the lowest positions. Although that could be the subject of another movie.
Monsters University is a movie of Disney Pixar who has directed Dan scanlon and that has the music of the composer Randy Newman. The movie has already been released on large screens and can be viewed in 2D and 3D versions. In the original version you can listen to John Goodman playing Sulley, in Spanish it is Santiago Segurawhile to Wazowski puts a voice on Billy Crystal while in Spain you can listen to Jose Mota. There are more voices, like Helen Mirren in the voice of the demanding dean of the university, Nathan Fillion as the leader of the odious brotherhood of the popular and Alfred Molina as one of the professors.
The movie flies by and the kids have a great time. Seeing Sulley and Mike is always a guarantee and other well-known characters from the movie Monstruos S.A. also appear. for example Randall, the very bad guy we learn from this because he will hate Sulley so much. In the film you learn and transmit values such as companionship, teamwork and how important it is to set a goal but then life is very demanding and not everything is so easy and simple.
For those who want to stay until the end of the final letters and credits, I warn you yes, that in this movie there is additional scene. And if you see it in 3D, don't forget to put on your glasses because the scene demands it. It is a fun ending that surely catches the attention although they will have to wait.
In addition to the film you can see a short film before the screening in which a romantic story of encounters and disagreements. Although Paperman reminded me a lot in this story, the protagonists are not humans but the objects of a city on an afternoon of clouds and rain. From the pipes, to the traffic lights through the signs and sewers, everyone will strive to get a couple of umbrellas enjoy a romantic evening under the rain. The technology used is such that I have nothing clear which images are real or drawings. Outside the story, which is not bad either, the short film is worth it for the enormous realism and magnetism of its images.
