How to learn to write code from school with the CSED Week initiative

The initiative CSED Week (computer science education week) is being held from the 9th and will last until the 15th of December in U.S. The objective of the proposal is that once registered, and already more than six million people go, access to a complete and varied platform to learn to program and write code for at least one hour. The key is that each student in each school can have the opportunity to learn basic programming routines based on their teachers.

For that, for teachers to get involved and involved, from CSED they propose that teachers explain in a simple way examples of real applications that are being used and that have social goals. In addition, children can also be shown the technology that we use and that works thanks to programming such as mobile phones, microwaves, computers, traffic lights, game consoles, music, etc. And finally teachers can explain that computer science combines with great success the human ideas and digital tools to increase our capabilities and make life easier and more fun for everyone.

In the video you can see the great effort of the CSED initiative also mobilizing famous characters They are involved in the project. I really liked the large number of options available to approach programming with so many platforms and so much collaboration of all to ensure that the workers of the future are able to respond to the needs of technological knowledge.

The picture shows how 9 out of 10 schools do not apply any training program related to programming. So we ended up remembering something that we already commented on when this initiative was launched in the United States led by important businessmen with large companies. And is that programming is going to be another skill It will help children solve problems and deal with them differently in a very short time.
