The campaign 'Stuffed Animals for Education' incorporates this year a novelty: 'dona and redona' to be doubly supportive

The IKEA Foundation has been developing a great initiative for 10 years called 'Stuffed Animals for Education' in which both the company itself and the customers are involved. Throughout this time, stuffed animals sold during the Christmas campaign have been able to help more than 10 million children from 46 different countries.

How do they do it? Well, it's you who can do: For each book or stuffed animal that you purchase in IKEA stores until January 11, the Foundation will donate a euro to UNICEF and Save the Children for education projects.

This initiative is one more that adds to the solidarity that, although it should not be exclusive of these dates, becomes apparent when those who can afford certain expenses, remember all those who lack the most basic services

This year the motto will be 'The power of education', and a novelty has been incorporated. With 'Dona and redona', in addition to allocating a euro to education projects, the Foundation makes available to customers some boxes located on the cash lines, and by depositing stuffed animals or books, we allow them to reach local associations. With this you can buy two books or two stuffed animals, and in addition to the financial contribution that entails, one of them will go to children who are not as lucky as yours, but also want to play.

The 'Plush for education' campaign supports UNICEF and Save the Children projects aimed at improve the living conditions and education of children in developing countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

There are more than 72 different models of stuffed animals for all ages, and its price ranges between 0.99 euros and 18.99 euros, as you can see there are very cheap options. And it is important to highlight that In the 10 years that the campaign has been running, 57 million euros have been contributed to finance a total of 90 projects.
