A Santa Claus for children to hold Christmas greetings from their friends

If Christmas greetings have already arrived (but beware! Not those that appear on your smartphone or email), you have a practical and economical solution to expose them so that children have them in sight in their room.

You can give them the shape of Santa Claus using very simple materials that you will find in stationery stores and haberdashery, do you follow me?

What do we need

  • Felt red, white, pink and black (or cardboard of the same colors), wooden clothespins, tempera (acrylic paint) yellow, green and blue, cotton, brush, white tail, scissors and thick golden thread (cordoncillo) , which can be replaced by pipe cleaners.

How do we do it

We begin to cut a strip of red felt about 25 centimeters long, and ankle boots in black felt whose total width (of both) is equal to the width of the strip. With white, pink, black and red, we will cut a hat, eyes and headto; elements that we will be superimposing on the strip and between them (starting with the head). White glue is used to paste.

The final touch is given by cotton, from which we will stick some balls to make Santa's beard. Finally, the wooden clothespins are painted and allowed to dry. The felt strip is hung with the cord that we can skewer by making a hole in the cap with a perforator, and the clamps are attached, pending the first cards. Do you like it?

And if you still do not know how to congratulate, but this year you would like to be a little more classic, I remind you of these beautiful, beautiful cards, right?
