Tabuenca School encourages a healthy diet among kids with a pack of carrots ready to eat

Tabuenca It is a Segovian company of fresh vegetables. He has just launched a new pack designed especially for children and is called Tabuenca School, a small bag of sweet carrots, natural and perfectly washed and ready to eat. It is a very comfortable format to take anywhere and that can already be purchased in the main Spanish supermarkets and soon in many more points of sale.

The pack has an affordable price, is original and attractive for children and includes several small carrots to eat from start to finish. From Tabuenca we are encouraged to consume these carrots as lunch or snack. And the carrot helps improve eyesight and skin, is low in calories and prevents cardiovascular disease. The challenge of Tabuenca School is to fight against childhood obesity.

Tabuenca School was presented at the fair Fruit Attraction 2013 in Madrid and since then it has not stopped carrying out multiple actions to publicize its product and follow a clear line in the promotion of a healthy diet. For example, the previous presentation video or a Activity Notebook for schools and toy libraries that includes contents and tasks aimed at children so that they learn to eat healthier and discover the properties and origin of vegetables.

The company manager is Bernardo Tabuenca which has also indicated that part of the benefits obtained with this product will be invested in new initiatives and projects to continue fighting against childhood obesity. He also explained that thanks to this new pack, five temporary jobs have been created that he hopes can grow as he grows and develops Tabuenca School.

Tabuenca has been in the vegetable and vegetable sector for more than 60 years and is a reference in Castilla y León with an important social commitment. Through the solidarity campaign Become a Tabuenca fan, feed! He has donated 25,000 kilos of his vegetables to the Food Banks of Castilla y León. Thanks to more than 8,000 followers who supported the campaign and contributed their grain of sand with a simple gesture that has managed to help hundreds of families, so that nobody lacks their ration of vegetables. In Tabuenca also work organic products such as carrots, garlic, potatoes, leeks and onions being one of the companies in Castilla y León with greater projection of the future is its sector of activity.

I congratulate Tabuenca for the initiative of Tabuenca School that I am sure is having a great success. One of my childhood lunches when we were taken to the pool in summer was to stop between splash and splash and spend some time eating a fresh and healthy carrot. Knowing that now it can be done all year round is great news and the children will appreciate it.
