Pekelucas: the solidarity initiative that manufactures wigs for girls who have lost their hair can you help them?

Making a sick child happy is easier of what we might believe a priori, because in addition to the necessary medical care, they only need the love of everyone around them, and receive hopes of recovery. Just remember this girl with cancer who wanted more than anything to eat pizza (and the hospital menu did not include it).

More emphatically it can be affirmed that to the children, when they feel empathy for their peers, solidarity comes out of their pores: do you remember how Vincent snatched himself so that his friend Zac did not feel so different?

But we are going with the issue at hand, and with the possibility that Pekelucas offers us to make sick girls happy (cancer, alopecia, tricolithomania), those who have lost their hair because of the process itself or the treatments. You will ask what is Pekelucas? It is an initiative of a company from the post-first sector (Free Style), they have a very clear mission: manufacture children's wigs for girls between the ages of five and 14 who have lost their hair. And allocate them at no cost to cover this need that many families present.

You will see the initiative works like this: If you want to collaborate you can go to have your hair cut (minimum 20 centimeters) to any of the hairdressers and beauty salons associated with Pekelucas, indicating that you want to donate it. Also the owners, or the owners of hairdressing salons can join the network of collaborators. And anyone can collaborate financially to the extent of their possibilities, for this it is possible to 'sponsor' a pekeluca through the Paypal button. Although there is still one more way to contribute, because if you have hair at home you can send it by mail.

In FreeStyle (Madrid) the cut is free, but I warn you that it is not an opportunity to change your look without cost, but a commitment

On the reference website, they give you all the necessary indications so that help is not a complication, and they even allow you to directly follow the status of your donation. As you can see, there are several ways to collaborate with this beautiful initiative, in addition the receiving girls undertake to donate the wig to others who also need it, once they recover their hair.

Tell you that any collaboration for this project to be maintained over time is necessary, because the receiving families do not count a cent, but there are expenses related to the treatment of hair, until it becomes a wig suitable for girls who need it. So do we commit to help?

Thank you @NuriaOvejero for the information, and thanks also for your sensitivity towards issues related to child protection.
