He summer of the year 2014 will be the first in many years in which we have no film of Pixar. Disney, as our fellow Blog Blogs tell us, he has decided that there will be no premiere. Although we have just published that Pixar celebrates 25 years of success, it seems that the acquisition of Disney is making the creatives and the successes spread and it seems that it compensates them to continue profiting the creations of success by adding new parts. Thus they have confirmed that they are working in The Incredibles 2 (The Incredibles 2) and Cars 3.
Disney's decision I imagine going through keep successful products that offer sales each year in the form of merchandising, theme parks and licenses for children to continue carrying these famous characters in their bags, backpacks, folders, etc. In any case we cannot lose hope because it seems that Brad Bird is actively working on The Incredibles 2. And Brad Bird has beautiful movies like The Iron Giant, Ratatouille or The Incredibles.
One of the attractions of Pixar films was that it showed us situations that we had assumed with a different point of view. For example, The Incredibles introduced us to superheroes with a family life, with human problems and with great vulnerabilities. In addition the secondary characters that were included in the film encouraged to enrich that idea. So The Incredibles sure can still offer more joys and entertainment.
In the case of Cars, with two very different films although with well-known and attractive characters, especially for children, I imagine it will be a very commercial film. In my opinion Cars, and although it has an animation that humanizes cars a lot, I have not been able to find any affinity or connection to make them attractive.
